I moved to a beach town, so I needed a beach website.
Earlier this year this was a mountain site. The logo was a mountain, the banners were wireframe terrain, and most of the photos came from eight years on the Shenandoah trails. In 2026 we moved back to Florida, and the site moved with us: sand and sea colors, an aerial shot of the Florida coast on the home page, and three waves where the mountain used to be. Every inner page now opens on a drawn shoreline. Click it and a surfer rides through, then a dolphin jumps.
Oh, did I mention there is a sandcastle game on the home page? Flip a bucket for a molded castle, stack a tower on it, dig a moat, and top it off with a flag or a shell. Four corners and four walls make a fort. It runs on React Three Fiber and works with a keyboard too.
Check it out when you have a chance.
